every Ex-Louisvillian on planet earth to come home to visit Louisville
this July and in every month of July to follow. From this year onward,
the month of July will be known as "WELCOME HOME TO LOUISVILLE" month. WHTL is a celebration of the beauty, charm, vitality and heritage of
Louisville, Kentucky. It is being created as an annual invitation for
all Ex-Louisvillians to come home in July to visit friends and family
and to enjoy Louisville’s restaurants, attractions, shops, hotels and
summertime events.
Each July Louisville small business
sponsors will offer discounts off their regular prices and prize
packages for Ex-Louisvillians who wear the lanyard and patch shown here.
On the opposite page you will find details about how to order "the
patch". We envision that creative and enterprising Louisville businesses
and organizations will plan future events to attract the estimated
400,000 to 750,000 Ex-Louisvillians living away from Louisville.
Please partner with us by ordering the
WHTL patch for your friends and family or by sending this form to your
friends and family who are living away from Louisville. If Louisvillians
like you share this invitation with your loved ones, together we will
make every July the most warmly welcoming month of the year for every
Ex-Louisvillian who comes to visit us.
