YOUTH PROGRAMS & CAMPS
ZOOper Kids Holiday Camp
(Ages 4-5)
ZOOper kids programs are designed for
children ages 4-5. Campers will enjoy a Zoo walk, craft, and a
“hands-on” visit with education animals. A healthy snack will be
provided.
Cost per person: Regular $35; Members $25
December 20, 9 –11:45 a.m.
Holiday Camp
(ages 6-12)
This all day program will be packed with
activities including animal study, crafts, a “hands-on” visit with
Education animals and a snack. Children should bring a sack lunch
with a drink. Children will be grouped according to age.
Cost: Regular $55; Members $40
December 20, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
December 21 , 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
December 27, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Teen Holiday Camp (ages 13 – 15)
This daylong program will provide teens
with a unique experience at the Louisville Zoo. Teens will explore
how our Zoo cares for the many endangered animals that live here, as
well as conservation projects in the wild. Teens need to bring a
lunch and drink, and dress for the weather.
Cost: Regular $55; Members $40
December 21, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Louisville Nature Center & Zoo Holiday Camp
Winter is a wonderful time to enjoy the
outdoors. Campers will spend the morning at the Nature Center
exploring the forest and then will walk over to the Zoo to learn
about animals found around the world. Indoor activities will include
games, hands-on activities, arts and crafts and encounters with some
small creatures. Campers need to bring their own lunch and dress
warmly.
Cost: Regular $55; Members $40
December 28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Family classes
No Family classes offered at this time.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Individuals who wish to cancel their registration in any class must
notify the Education Department, in writing, no less than one week
prior to the actual date of the class. We will refund 80% of the
class fee upon receipt of a written or email (danita.robbins@louisvilleky.gov) cancellation.
There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than one week
prior to class date.
- The
Education Department reserves the right to cancel classes with
insufficient registration.
- There
will be a $10 service charge for any changes in the original
registration.
- Pre-registration is required for all classes.
Registration
Information
Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and camps
fill quickly. Pre-registration is required for all classes.
- Online registrations through
our eTicket Store are available unless otherwise
noted. Only credit card payments accepted. Confirmations are automatically
emailed with your ticket.
- For mail in registrations,
download a winter
registration form. Payments must be
received with the registration form at least two weeks to the preferred session.
Confirmations will be mailed to you. Please make your check payable to the
Louisville Zoo.
- Reservations will not be taken over the phone.
