Louisville Zoo mourns 44-year-old ailing silverback's passing
Thursday afternoon Louisville Zoo
said goodbye to Frank, a 44-year-old geriatric silverback
western lowland gorilla. He had been suffering from chronic
arthritis and heart disease.

Alice S. Etscorn Tiger Tundra
Get nose-to-nose with the most
magnificent cats on earth! The new Alice S. Estcorn Tiger Tundra gives
guests a thrilling yet safe opportunity to enjoy an eye level view of
Amur tigers through a 1.5” reinforced glass barrier. Feel the rumble of
their roar. Zookeepers conduct training and enrichment demonstrations
daily at 10:30 a.m., 2 and 3:30 p.m. (weather permitting).
